Major Responsibilities and Duties The Host/ Maitre' d position is required to greet guests upon arrival, seat guests, and assist in managing guest flow and seating throughout each service.
Candidates for this position must have a positive attitude, a smile on their face and enjoy guest relations.
Business casual attire is required.
Maintain a clean work space and appearance at all times Strength in multi-tasking including clearing and cleaning tables, setting tables, placing and replacing silverware, seating guests Consistent maintenance of service standards Computer literacy Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to handle multiple priorities Must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time Must posses clear, concise written and verbal communication skills as it relates to speaking to guests, management, and co-workers Prior experience in a restaurant environment, and/or with Open Table reservation system is preferred but not required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
